Libby Humeniuk is a Southern Albertan artist, based out of the foothills near Millarville, Alberta. Her work is greatly influenced by the local ranching community, with a strong focus on representing the working cowboy. Portraying these images in a dynamic style of pastel on black paper, she aims to share this seldom seen lifestyle with a broader audience. In addition to fine art, she is also known for her western photography and videography.
Humeniuk is a predominately a self-taught artist; some of her career highlights include her work being featured in Southwest Art Magazine, at the Russell Art Auction (Great Falls, MT), the Museum of Western Art (Kerrville, TX), and the Pure West Art and Artifact Auction (Calgary, AB). She is also a signature member of the Cowgirl Artists of America.
