Grace Tanton-Nuxoll is a stellar emerging artist. Currently enrolled in her second year at Sheridan College’s prestigious Honours- Bachelor of Illustration, Tanton-Nuxoll has consistently exceeded the expectations of her professors. For three years running, she has been selected as one of a short list of young artists from across Alberta to create work for the Calgary Stampede poster. Following in the footsteps of her mother (esteemed artist Janice Tanton) Tanton-Nuxoll has a definitive stamp on her work and is in high demand for commissions and equine related art. An experienced horsewoman, trainer and USPA rated polo player, Tanton-Nuxoll’s understanding of equine anatomy, colour and movement blasts through, energizing her works and electrifying her subjects and viewers with every elegant brushstroke.
