Shannon Luyendyk is a native Albertan who resides in Cochrane, finding inspiration through her love of horses and western heritage. Luyendyk's art work has also been juried and selected into the Calgary Stampede Western Showcase, as well as the CM Russell Art Auction several years.
Her chuckwagon piece of the late Richard Cosgrave is in BP Amoco's corporate collection and was used to commemorate Amoco's 50th Anniversary. Luyendyk has won numerous awards in her local Cochrane Art Club which include the Western Heritage Award and People's Choice award.
