Jane Romanishko was born in Russia and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Art Education. She also holds a Master’s Degree in Architecture. She moved to the United States, and then to Canada 30 years ago and now lives and paints in Calgary, where she is inspired by western landscapes and intrigued by traditional cultures.
Romanishko has participated in numerous shows and exhibitions including the Calgary Stampede Western Showcase, and the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas. She has, among other awards, received the Nicholas de Grandmaison Award for Excellence in Pastel Portraiture.
Romanishko’s work can be found in many private collections throughout North America, Europe and Australia.
