Note: Borein’s widow, Lucile, sold his etching press and many of his etching plates. It was acquired by Walter Silva who printed an edition of the previously unprinted “The Twister” (Galvin 292). This etching comes with a signed letter from Silva explaining this. The other etching in this group bears similarities to the Borein etching, “Roping” (Galvin 122) and may be a contemporary copy.
